Have you ever received a call from someone insisting that you're in default on a loan and will face legal consequences unless you immediately wire them money? Chances are, it's a scam. Similarly, if someone contacts you claiming that you've been pre-approved for a loan and all you need to do is send them $150-300 for a processing fee, it's definitely a scam. It's important to note that we do not facilitate transactions over the phone. Here's what you should do if you come across a suspicious phone call:

  • Ask the caller for their name, company details, address, phone number, and official documentation validating the debt.
  • Report any dubious calls to our Customer Comment Line at (888) 705-8841, and get in touch with your local law enforcement.

Tips to avoid becoming a victim of this scam:

  • Only share your Social Security number or personal information if you initiated the contact.
  • Be cautious of urgent emails that ask for personal financial information. These emails often use deceptive tactics to pressure you into responding immediately.
  • Don't fill out forms in email messages that ask for personal details.
  • Make sure to keep your browser updated and install security patches. Regularly review your bank, credit, and debit card statements to identify any unauthorized transactions. If anything seems suspicious, don't hesitate to inform your bank and card issuers.
  • When reaching out to companies, use the contact numbers provided on your cards or statements.
  • Rest assured that your security is our top priority. We are fully committed to safeguarding your information and ensuring your peace of mind.
